A note about travelling with your dog:

Dogs curl up small  and it is unsafe for a pet to do otherwise in a vehicle crate.
There should only be enough room for the dog to enter the crate turn around and lie down so it is touching two sides and the rear of the crate so it is supported in the event of sudden stops.
